Greek Entrepreneurship Boston Event 2026

Hellenic Boston Businesses Unite (H.B.B.U.) hosted The Art of Greek Entrepreneurship event on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Oakley Country Club. The gathering brought together Hellenic and Philhellenic professionals for networking, conversation, and insights from successful Greek entrepreneurs.

Organizers partnered with the National Hellenic Society and KefiFM for the evening program. Attendees explored the intersection of Greek heritage, resilience, innovation, and business success.

Panel Discussion Highlights Greek Heritage in Business

A dynamic panel featured three accomplished entrepreneurs. Eleni Theochari, Founder and CEO of Mykonos Luxury Corporation, shared her experiences. Irina Kapetanakis, Founder of IK Advisory and multi-unit owner of Rumble Boxing, discussed her journey. Demetri Tsolakis, Co-Founder and CEO of Xenia Greek Hospitality, offered perspectives from the restaurant sector.

Each speaker reflected on how Greek values shape their professional paths. They emphasized heritage, resilience, and innovation as key drivers. The discussion provided practical insights for attendees committed to advancing Hellenic leadership.

Greek diaspora entrepreneurship shows strong patterns. Historical data indicate that Greek immigrants often pursue business ownership at high rates. More recent diaspora startups raised significant funding in 2025, highlighting ongoing vitality.

Networking and Community Engagement

Attendees enjoyed refreshments and networking opportunities. They connected with fellow professionals, business leaders, and members of the Greek-American community. Conversations continued long after the panel ended.

H.B.B.U. Founder Panayiota Asimacos addressed the collaboration’s success. She noted the enthusiasm from attendees and the value of such spaces for connection and learning. Asimacos expressed gratitude to partners and looked forward to H.B.B.U.’s growth in unity, philanthropy, and engagement.

The event builds on H.B.B.U.’s prior initiatives. These include the KefiFM & H.B.B.U. Annual Radiothon, Ladies’ Night at Rumble Boxing, and other networking and philanthropic activities. The organization supports the Metropolis of Boston Camp and related causes.
